Seefried Properties, a privately held real estate firm specializing in the development, leasing and management of industrial properties, has announced the promotion of Lana Nicholson to Vice President – Controller. Lana started with the company in January 2017 as Controller and was recently promoted to her current position as Vice President – Controller.

Lana is a fundamental member of the Seefried team and is responsible for providing strategic oversight of the company’s real estate accounting functions. This includes complete financial reporting, creating and monitoring budgets, and interacting with senior executives to ensure all accounting functions are consistent with the company’s goals and objectives.

Lana has more than 10 years of commercial real estate operations and accounting experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
