Seefried Industrial Properties, a privately-owned industrial real estate firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, has officially begun construction at the site of Tallahassee’s newest fulfillment center. The future building will be located on an 118-acre site near the Mahan Drive/I-10 interchange.
Dubbed under the code name “Project Mango,” the project will feature record-breaking size and functionality featuring four stories fitted with cutting-edge material handling and product retrieval systems which are extremely useful when serving the fast-growing e-commerce market.
Additional building features will include 49 dock doors, 1,250 parking spaces, 265 trailer spaces and 100,000-square feet of office and break room space. Equipped with advanced Robotics technology, the size and design of this project will reflect evolving strategies for more efficient package delivery.
The building is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter of 2022. The Conlan Company is serving as the general contractor.
