Seefried Breaks Ground on 354k Speculative Project in Port St. Lucie

Glades Logistics Park will include two modern and highly functional Class A industrial buildings.

Atlanta-based developer, Seefried Industrial Properties announce site work is underway on Glades Logistics Park, a new 354,200-square-foot, two-building industrial development adjacent to Interstate 95 in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The 32-acre site was originally acquired by Seefried via a private seller in December of 2021 for an undisclosed amount.

Located just east of Interstate 95 at the intersection of West Midway Road and LTC Parkway, Glades Logistics Park will include two modern and highly functional Class A industrial buildings, the first 161,700 square feet and the second 192,500 square feet. Together, the project can accommodate multiple industrial users needing space from 40,000 to 192,500 square feet.

Both Properties at Glades Logistics Park will provide best in class specifications including tilt wall construction with 36-foot clear heights, high dock counts, generous full concrete truck courts and ample vehicle and trailer parking on a secure fenced site. Upon completion of the future entrance to Florida’s Turnpike on Midway Road, the properties will have access to both the Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike in under one minute. The site’s proximity to two of the state’s top arterial highways provides access to 20 million people or 93% of the state’s population within a four-hour drive including South Florida, Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.

“The strategic location and function of this site, coupled with access to a world-class logistics and transportation network makes Glades Logistics Park a desirable location for both local and region distribution in one of the state’s fastest growing markets,” said Paul Seefried, Senior Vice President of Seefried Properties. “The business-friendly environment and cost-of-living advantages offered by St. Lucie County create additional incentives for new and expanding businesses.”

The buildings are scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of 2023.

Sky Groden, Evan Christiansen and Jeremy Cain of JLL are handling leasing for the project. Catamount Constructors Company is the general contractor, Kimley-Horn is serving as the civil-engineer and McGregor Associates is the architect of record.
