Megabuilding now going up in Deltona

I-4 Logistics Park is to be a 128-acre industrial complex.

Expect more big trucks on the move in Deltona.

Another huge building is now under construction, just across the road from the Amazon fulfillment center.

The million-square-foot high-cube warehouse will be the centerpiece of I-4 Logistics Park, which is part of the greater Portland Industrial Park, now anchored by Amazon and bisected by North Normandy Boulevard.

I-4 Logistics Park is to be a 128-acre industrial complex that will also include two 500,000-square-foot buildings. The project includes outparcels for retail stores or restaurants.

An Atlanta developer, Seefried Industrial Properties, is the owner of the new building, as well as the Amazon complex.

As for the future occupant of the enormous building being constructed, no names have been mentioned, but Deltona Acting City Manager John Peters said he has heard of three parties that may be looking at moving in. Completion of the new building is several months away.
