Mr. Ferdinand Seefried founded Seefried Properties in 1984 to develop industrial real estate, focusing on locations near airports and targeting international freight forwarding and transportation companies.
With Mr. Seefried’s close ties to European financial institutions, leading international freight forwarders, and e-commerce retailers, the company quickly emerged as a leader in warehouse development in the Sunbelt.
Mr. Seefried’s vision for the company is to grow a significant presence in all major U.S. distribution markets and focus on build-to-suit requirements for its corporate clients from the U.S. and Europe. Since 1984 the company has built over $13 billion in development volume in 30+ markets and is managing over 30 million square feet of warehouses.
Prior to starting Seefried Properties, Mr. Seefried served as an executive for Transatlantic Group, a European based real estate advisory group. He was responsible for the acquisition and property management of a commercial real estate portfolio in excess of $450 million.
Mr. Seefried has served as a diplomat for his native Austria from 1989 to 2020 as Honorary Consul General of Austria for Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. He is a member of the Capital City Club Atlanta, the US Austria Chamber of Commerce New York. Mr. Seefried is also a member of the Advisory Council of Emory University, Department of German Studies.

Mr. Rakusin serves as Seefried Properties' President and Chief Executive Officer, providing strategic leadership with regard to the direction of the company as a co-creator of Seefried Properties beginning in 1993. His leadership for the past 25 years has helped Seefried Properties become one of the leading privately held national industrial development companies in the United States.
Mr. Rakusin provides guidance and support to Seefried's regional offices and assists in the deal structure and financing activities of the company. He also assists the regional partners and is instrumental in maintaining key relationships with Seefried's U.S. capital partners and user/occupier relationships.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Rakusin served as Managing Director and Vice President of Development for Landmarks Development, GmbH, the German subsidiary of The Landmarks Group, where he was responsible for the development of office buildings and industrial parks in the Berlin market. Before that, he was the Vice President of Project Finance for The LandMark Group and worked for Carter & Associates from 1981-1988.

Mr. Condon’s role as Chief Development Officer entails senior management responsibility for Seefried’s National Build-to-Suit Program. He manages site selection and acquisition, venture financing, design, construction, budget control, leasing and disposition of assets.
Mr. Condon has over 30 years of experience in commercial construction and real estate development. He joined Seefried in 1998 and advanced to Chief Development Officer in 2011. During his time at Seefried, Mr. Condon has managed developments as large as $300 million in value.

Mr. Herren joined Seefried in May 2000 as Vice President of Marketing and Leasing and is currently Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, he is charged with the oversight of all leasing and property management services along with the development responsibilities for the Southeast.
Mr. Herren’s resume includes more than 25 years of comprehensive real estate experience during which time he has been responsible for lending, sales and development of millions of square feet of industrial real estate.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Herren spent five years with Trammell Crow Company leasing industrial projects and six years as a Lender with Bank of America’s real estate finance group.

Mr. Smith joined Seefried Properties in 2000 and serves as Senior Vice President of Leasing and Management. In addition, Mr. Smith oversees Seefried’s third-party management business that is currently compromised of 25 million square feet of institutionally owned product.
Mr. Smiths’ portfolio includes buildings owned by major institutional owners, smaller privately held investors and Seefried developed buildings.
His concentrations include leasing and marketing of a 15 million square foot portfolio in Atlanta compromised of industrial product throughout all of Atlanta’s major submarkets.

Mr. Quintel joined Seefried Properties in August 2011 to establish Seefried’s Western Region platform. As Senior Vice President, his efforts are focused on evaluating new acquisition and development opportunities, managing due diligence initiatives, securing financing, leasing, and dispositions. Mr. Quintel has extensive and in-depth experience in all aspects of industrial real estate through more than 20 years engaged in property joint venture partnerships, project development, leasing, and finance.
Throughout his career, Mr. Quintel has been responsible for the development and acquisition of over 35 million square feet of institutional-grade industrial assets valued in excess of $4 billion.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Quintel was Senior Vice President and Development Partner with Panattoni Development Company, where he led development and acquisitions in Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona. More recently, Mr. Quintel served as Managing Director of Volt Real Estate Services in Phoenix, AZ where he grew the office into a full-service real estate operation.

Mr. Bick joined Seefried in 2016 and is involved in all aspects of the development process from site selection to construction management and business development for industrial projects throughout Southern California.
Over the past 10 years, he has worked in multiple facets of real estate and has extensive experience with project due diligence, leading design efforts, budgeting, permitting, contract negotiations, pre-construction planning, ground-up development, construction sequence and scheduling and tenant improvements. During his time at Seefried, Mr. Bick’s primary focus has been ground up developments for both build-to-suit and speculative properties for lease.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Bick spent five years at CW Driver Companies where he focused on multi-family residential projects in downtown Los Angeles. Before that, he spent an additional three years at ARCO/Murray Design Build as a Project Manager.
Throughout the duration of his career at Seefried, Mr. Bick has completed approximately 14.5 million square feet of space nearing $1.3 billion in project value.

Mr. Paul Seefried joined Seefried Properties in February 2011 as a Project Manager on the build-to-suit development team. He has been actively involved in the development of over 30 million square feet of industrial build-to-suit developments around the country, in particular, regional distribution centers for Amazon.com in Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, and Florida. He is now Senior Vice President of Development for the Florida market and is responsible for all aspects of development in the region.
Mr. Seefried is actively involved in the business development and expansion of European institutional and private capital partners and is fluent in three languages including German and French.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Seefried spent three years working as a Development Analyst in the multifamily industry for the Lane Company, followed by three years of being a Commercial Broker in which he worked on a variety of real estate asset classes including: timberland, multifamily, retail, single-family residential and industrial land.

Lana Shaw joined Seefried Properties in January 2017 as Controller and was promoted to her current position as Vice President – Controller in December 2022. Lana is a fundamental member of the Seefried team and is responsible for providing strategic oversight of the company’s real estate accounting functions. This includes complete financial reporting, creating and monitoring budgets, and interacting with senior executives to ensure all accounting functions are consistent with the company’s goals and objectives.
As an industry veteran with more than 10 years of experience in real estate finance and accounting, Lana is well qualified to assume this important leadership role within the company. She has extensive knowledge and valuable experience in real estate operations and development, acquisitions/dispositions, and investor reporting.
Prior to her tenure with Seefried, Lana held various progressive positions in the commercial real estate industry, and most recently spent over five years as Controller of Retail Specialists, LLC in Birmingham, Alabama.
Lana holds an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

Mr. Spyskinski brings over 30 years of design/build and construction management experience including management of overall corporate operations with companies including Panattoni Construction, Opus North Corporation and the Columbus OH Regional Airport Authority.
Throughout the duration of his career at Seefried, Mr. Spyskinski has completed approximately 15 million square feet of space in excess of $1.3 billion in project value.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Spysinski served as Vice President of Development with Panattoni where he helped to establish the company as a nationally-ranked Top 20 Design Build Construction Company.

Mr. Goldberg joined Seefried Properties in 2016 as Vice President of Construction. He is responsible for managing the development’s due diligence, procurement, project management, construction activities and tenant move-in for Seefried’s build-to-suit and speculative developments throughout the U.S. from entitlements through construction completion.
Mr. Goldberg has extensive experience with project due diligence, proposal response, estimating, scheduling, leading design efforts, detail design review, budgeting, permitting, contract negotiations and project closeout. He has a very successful track record for meeting project timelines, budgets and client satisfaction.
During his time at Seefried, Mr. Goldberg has completed over $1.0 billion in development projects for companies such as Amazon, Whole Foods, Vistar, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Meadowbrook Farms.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Goldberg spent 11 years with ARCO Design/Build as Senior Project Manager. Before that, he spent an additional eight years at The Facility Group as a Project Manager.

He has also provided program management services for a 560,000 square foot outlet mall estimated at $90 million and worked as an owner’s representative for renovations on 10 historic buildings in downtown Savannah consisting of over 100,000 total square feet for retail, residential and office uses.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Brune practiced civil engineering for industrial, retail, healthcare and education clients throughout the Southeast. He has also spent time developing new stores for Secretariat International and CBRE.

Mr. Scarborough joined Seefried Properties as Senior Development Manager in 2016. He now serves as Vice President of Development for Seefried's Southeast region. Mr. Scarborough also has experience with projects consisting of roadway infrastructure improvements, warehouse tenant upfits, office upfits, multi-family, and small retail construction.
With just under 10 years in the industry, Mr. Scarborough has managed over 10 million square feet of industrial development projects in five states for clients such as Amazon.com, Mars Petcare, Rite Aid Corporation, Dorel, Kenco Logistics, Walmart and others.

Mr. Otte joined Seefried Properties in 2014 as Vice President of Development for the Texas Region. Prior to joining Seefried, Mr. Otte managed construction projects and staff in several major markets, including Tampa, Atlanta and Minnesapolis, as well as working on projects across the eastern half of the U.S. predominantly for build-to-suit projects for Fortune 500 companies. The majority of this work was done on a design/build basis managing the sales, budgeting, design and construction phases.
Throughout his 45-year career in the construction and development industry, Mr. Otte has been responsible for the development of over 25 million square feet of industrial space.

Ms. March is Development Coordinator for the Midwest Region. Ms. Lawson joined Seefried Properties in 2019 as one of Seefried’s Development Service Coordinators. Her responsibilities include land due diligence, contracts, draw budget management and funding requests.
During her 15-year career in industrial real estate, Ms. Lawson has been involved in the development and acquisition of over 15 million square feet of Class A industrial space.
Prior to joining Seefried, Ms. Lawson held the position of Project Coordinator in the Dallas office for JLL where she focused on database and due diligence site management. Before that, she worked in JLL’s Property Management in Columbus as a Property Administrator and Fiscal Administrative Assistant for six years.

Ms. Richardson joined Seefried Properties in 2020 as one of Seefried’s Development Service Coordinators. She is responsible for handling the coordination of due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions including title/survey review, contract management, zoning and entitlements. She is also responsible for project accounting and insurance compliance during construction through project completion.
During her 13-year construction career, Ms. Richardson has been involved with over $1 billion in construction of education, healthcare and multi-family projects.
Prior to joining Seefried, Ms. Richardson was with Zwick Construction Company as Project Administrator. While there, she was responsible for preparation and negotiation of subcontractor agreement, project invoicing, controls and closeout.

Mrs. Penniman joined Seefried Properties in 2021 as one of Seefried’s Development Service Coordinators. She is responsible for handling the coordination of due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions including title/survey review, contract management, zoning and entitlements. She acts as a liaison between capital partners, tenants, attorneys, and title officers throughout site feasibility and the closing process. Mrs. Penniman is also responsible for project accounting and insurance compliance during construction through project completion.
During her six-year career in real estate development, Mrs. Penniman has been involved in the development of over 30, Class A, luxury multi-family projects spanning the Western United States totaling $3 billion in market value.
Prior to joining Seefried, Mrs. Penniman was with The Wolff Company. Responsible for design development, construction drawing coordination, budget & schedule management, and delivery of common areas and units for each new construction multi-family project.

Ms. Young joined Seefried in Properties in 2018 as Development Services Coordinator where she is responsible for handling the coordination of due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions including title/survey review, contract management, zoning and entitlements. Additional duties include project accounting and insurance compliance during construction through project completion.
During her 18-year career in industrial real estate, Ms. Young has been involved in the development and acquisition of over 20 million square feet of institutional, Class A, industrial space.
Prior to joining Seefried, Ms. Young worked as a Commercial Broker and Property Manager for Lee & Associates.
